bottling the last beer ever brewed at the brewery

Washing bottles is a BIG part of brewing beer. The thing about it is that you can’t be slack as you really, really don’t want any infection to occur sending your beer bad. I’m sure the extensive amount washing necessary turns many brewers off. The bottling part is fun. Add some sugar, fill the bottle and cap. The capping is my favourite. The waiting stage I’m now up to isn’t so fun. My brew will supposedly reach its prime around 6 weeks after it’s been bottled- that’s if I’ve managed to follow the instructions correctly… ho hum and we wait…..
