Images from Event Three: A Round (Picnic) Table

10 December 2012

Over  period of four hours last Saturday various guests and I picnicked in my studio, inside my inflatable and mapped directly onto the tablecloth floor, answers to some of the questions that have been driving the Gonflables et amuse-bouches project.
Such as:   What are the intersections in thinking about the local in food, art and architecture? How are radical spaces created? What does it mean to take the acts of cooking and eating out of the everyday and into the realm of art? What do you think the role of food is in community building? What role does food play in the politicising of space?
Together we snacked and talked and decided together how we would answer these questions and where to write the answers in relation to the projects themes; Art, Architecture, Radical Spaces and Radical Organising.
