Star Stories @ Footscray Community Arts Centre

27 December 2015

On Sunday 17 January at Footscray Community Arts Centre as part of Wominjeka Festival 2016:
“For thousands of years people from all around the world have looked to the night sky to connect with their creation stories, seasonal changes and navigation though land and the seas. Storytelling and the exchange of traditional cultural stories is a vehicle for cross-cultural understanding and celebration.
Uncle Larry Walsh along with the Koorie and Asylum Seeker Resource Centre communities have put together a collection of galactic journeys, come listen and learn about the sky that unites all people. Lie down inside Living Under The Stars, an interactive sculpture created by Keg de Souza and be transported into the celestial sphere.”
