The Gigloo is a handmade inflatable dome that has had many manifestations including as a temporary pop-up bar and social space for it’s debut at the 2008 NextWave Festival, a screening room and host to various other installations including Simon Yates 3D VHS Willy Wonka work for Tiny Stadiums Festival, Louise Curham’s Super8 films for Performance Space’s Liveworks program,Lucas Abela’s MixTape atArt With Altitude, Brisbane Airport; TodaysArt Festival, Den Haag; Nuit Blanche, Metz, France, Jon Rose’s Sound Circus, White Cliffs, NSW and Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, Porto, Portugal.
