Gonflables et amuse-bouches: Event One FOOD invite Gonflables et amuse-bouchesKeg de SouzaGonflables et amuse-bouches features an inflatable structure, constructed out of disposable tablecloths, designed to host food related events and discussions about food politics and radical spaces, the literal English translation being, “Inflatables and mouth-amusers.”   Gonflables et amuse-bouches is based around a series of discussions over dinners in my studio where the inflatable structure is simultaneously being built.
Back from the Outback and off again… Over the last few weeks we were in Outback NSW as part of Jon Rose's Sound Circus, we went all the way to Cameron's Corner the 'town' at the corner of QLD, NSW and SA.
LUTS at The Edge Living Under The Stars is currently at The Edge, The Digital Culture Centre that is part of the State Library of Queensland.

Art With Altitude During the Art With Altitude Festival in Brisbane Airport it's been great seeing not quite an art crowd enjoying works, Gigloo is outside Woolies and the kids are going nuts for Lucas' Mixtape inside - who would have thought an experimental noise installation would have been such a hit with kids, then again it does involve helium balloons inside an inflatable...Living Under The Stars, or LUTS for short, is the new work I made for AWA, commissioned by Urban Art Projects through Megan Cope who is an amazing artist (and co-curator of AWA along with Natasha Smith from UAP).

Living Under The Stars So I've been making an inflatable planetarium...It is based on the star map from Sydney Observatory and will have over 300 twinkling LED stars.It's quite a complicated wire-y experience as each star has to have a wire connecting it to the LOL shield designed by the clever Jimmie p rodgers which connects to the Arduino and then has code to make the stars twinkle.
