Event 2 : Feeding the Hand That Feeds You  Last week was the second event in the Gonflables et Amuse-Bouches, Feeding the Hand That Feeds You which saw the People's Potato and Midnight Kitchen go head to head in a series of food games such as Yummy or Not (above), Bobbing for Apples, Fishing with Donuts etc as a metaphor for the way the two collectives organise.
Event One: FOOD : eating and meeting Event One: FOODI'm so impressed how a few prompts for a dialogue about food and it's intersections with art, architecture and radical organising could so easily lead to an engaged discussion for an entire night.
Gonflables et amuse-bouches: Event One FOOD invite Gonflables et amuse-bouchesKeg de SouzaGonflables et amuse-bouches features an inflatable structure, constructed out of disposable tablecloths, designed to host food related events and discussions about food politics and radical spaces, the literal English translation being, “Inflatables and mouth-amusers.”   Gonflables et amuse-bouches is based around a series of discussions over dinners in my studio where the inflatable structure is simultaneously being built.
The Darling Foundry I arrived Monday night at the Darling Foundry, Montreal where I will be for the next few months as part of a residency partnership through Artspace, Sydney.Whilst here I am developing a project about food politics.
